Brain Age 2

Product Description
This game is a follow-up on the previous DS brain training series. It is oriented towards adults wishing to improve their thinking skills by pressuring them to improve themselves with simple yet intense skill tests. By practising for just a few minutes every day you can flex your mental muscles and keep your brain young and in shape.

Brain Age is inspired by the research of Dr. Ryuta Kawashima, a prominent Japanese neuroscientist. His studies evaluated the impact of performing certain reading and mathematic exercises to help stimulate the brain.

On your first day of exercise, you will take a series of tests and get a score that determines how old your brain is. This number is called your DS Brain Age. Perform daily exercises just minutes a day over weeks and months to get better at the exercises and lower your DS Brain Age!

Review
Overall a great brain game and quite addictive and enjoyable to play particularly with friends and family. It can also help sharpen concentration and math skills particularly in children and is a great tool for working with your children in advancing these skills in a format that they enjoy.

An improvement on the previous brain age game with more accurate handwriting and voice recognition which was sometimes a problem in the previous version.

Like the old version the new version probably includes the best Suduko game out on the Nintendo DS. Unlike many Suduko games the makers of this game have done a good job at getting it right.

There are not many criticisms of this game apart from the game implying that a younger brain must be better than an older one when of course there are many exceptions to that rule. Also too much of Dr. Kawashima giving you repetitive information on whats good for your brain which can be a bit tiresome. Having to click through the instructions before playing a game can also be repetitive if you are already familiar with the rules of a game.
